The Bhangra Nation Dance Studio is essential for educating both youth and adults about the Punjabi folk dances of Giddha, Bhangra and the musical aspects of Punjabi folklore such as the instruments of the Dhol and Tumbi, and traditional singing also called Boliyaan.
The funding granted to us has allowed Bhangra Nation to expand its project's scope by opening an official Bhangra Nation Studio. The Bhangra Nation Studio will be crucial in educating both youth and adults about the dances of Giddha, Bhangra and the musical aspects of Punjabi folklore: such as the instruments of the Dhol and Tumbi, and traditional singing also called Boliyaan.
The studio is designed to instruct enthusiastic dancers and musicians on how to perfect their performance techniques through interactive Bhangra lessons with certified Bhangra coaches. The studio will also provide education about the significance of Bhangra dance moves to provide students an understanding of the beauty that Bhangra and giddha embodies.
